George Maskin
Born in Hamtramck in 1917. Elected to the Michigan High School Hall of Fame and Catholic League Hall of Fame. Sports Editor of the Observer-Eccentric during the 1960s and 1970s. Sports writer for the Detroit Times and Detroit Free Press. Officiated every sport at the high school and college levels, including College World Series. Inducted 2003
